Business card for social networking and apparel company out of the Bay Area.
This card, front and back, was born out of two separate concepts. After seeing the early sketches the client insisted that two different ideas be married into one card.
Side 1: a graphic continuation of the the 1960's style that inspired the 'Unvanilla Girl' logo.
side 2: a dirtier, darker graphic style that had more in common with the (then in development) website graphics.
This is a good example of "the client is always right".
After advising the client to the best of my ability the client decided that the two ideas would both be featured on the card. In the end I felt I executed the design at the most professional level possible while abiding by their decision.
The client appears to be very satisfied with the end result.
